Features

  • ED objective lenses provide superior images virtually free of chromatic aberration with accurate color reproduction, increased resolution and contrast
  • Fully multi-coated optics for maximum light transmission through the optical path
  • Phase and dielectric coated BaK-4 prisms for vivid, true-to-life colors
  • Tripod adaptable

ED Objective Lenses
Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass virtually eliminates chromatic aberration, also known as color fringing, a visual defect common in binoculars. TrailSeeker ED delivers edge-to-edge sharpness with excellent color correction and razor-sharp images.

Not all ED glass is created equal. Celestron’s high quality ED glass delivers visibly brighter, sharper images compared to non-ED binoculars. The difference is especially apparent in low light conditions, such as at dawn or dusk.

Coatings and Prisms
TrailSeeker ED features fully multi-coated optics and phase- and dielectric-coated BaK-4 prisms. A binocular can be considered “fully multi-coated” when all air-to-glass surfaces are coated with multiple layers of anti-reflectivity coatings so that the maximum amount of light passes through the glass to the eye.

The prism inside TrailSeeker ED is made of high quality BaK-4 glass with both phase and dielectric coatings so that more light is reflected off the prism and diverted through the eye. Taken together, fully multi-coatings and BaK-4 prisms maximize light transmission for the brightest, most detailed images possible.

The Body
TrailSeeker ED is composed of lightweight and durable magnesium alloy. Its tough, rigid frame is coated with rubber to stand up to hard use in the field. What’s more, the binocular is fully waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent internal fogging of lenses. TrailSeeeker ED can stand up to even the toughest outdoor conditions.

Viewing through TrailSeeker ED is comfortable for both eyeglass wearers and non-eyeglass wearers alike, thanks to the durable twist-up eyecups. Twist through multiple click stops to find the position that works best for you.

Perfect for a Variety of Uses
TrailSeeker ED features a close focus of just 8.2 feet, making it perfect for viewing birds, butterflies, plants, or other nearby subjects. But this 10x42 binocular also offers the magnification needed to get great views of distance subjects, plus a wide field of view so you can easily follow them as they move. No matter how you choose to observe, this versatile binocular is an excellent all-around performer.

Ways to Observe
TrailSeeker ED includes both a neck strap and a carrying harness so you can choose the option that’s most comfortable for you. It’s also tripod adaptable, so you can mount it on any standard photographic tripod for extended viewing or digiscoping sessions. (Tripod adapter sold separately.) The binocular also includes a protective soft case for storage or transport.

What's Included:

  • Objective Lens & Eyepiece Caps
  • Neck Strap

Very pleased I choose these bins

Good binoculars bought a second pair for my son

Collected via Trustpilot 5 star review

Probably the best binoculars all round. Use them now all the time. They have transformed my hillwalking and even just using them to watch birds and wildlife in the garden (despite NOT being a birdwatcher). They are ridiculously cheap for the quality. I conducted a huge amount of research before purchasing these and all the experts rated them very highly. I see why. They are so good that I ended up getting another pair for my wife as it was so irritating having to share them on walks. They are very sturdy obviously well made and I cannot recommend them highly enough. My friend has a set of Opticron binoculars which cost vastly more and was amazed when we compared them. I laughed he cried.

Excellent binoculars clear sharp bright image high quality optical components a little chromatic aberration in extreme backlighting but not noticeable at all in other conditions excellent quality given the price range.

High quality binoculars with very bright imaging because of ED in the couple of times Ive used they seem excellent.

Perfect binoculars for birding and clarity of view is spot on for this price

These new Celestron ED release's rival my Nikon HG's for clarity and colour sharpness producing a large amount of light thereby providing a crystal clear image. I cannot fault them considering the RRP is less than half the price of my current pair.  I lost a lens cap. so I contacted Celestron and about two weeks later two replacement caps arrived free of charge! To conclude - first-class optics and first-class customer service. A delight to use and a pleasure to do business with.
