Product Reviews
Review by Stuart Smith
These are easily the best binoculars I have ever owned including Zeiss. They feel well made and the optics are astounding bright even in dull lighting and pin sharp with a good depth of field. Focusing is easy and the close focus is excellent at about 6 feet which allows me to watch insects without having to move in too closely. I have only 2 minor gripes; 1. the covers for the objective lenses do not stay in place and 2. the binoculars are a bit heavy. The latter is unavoidable big lenses are weigh a lot but could be alleviated if there was provision to use a monopod which there is not. I am nearly 80 yrs old and can manage to hold them for short periods but if there is a convenient fencepost or tree branch to rest on things are much easier. Minor criticisms apart for the price I doubt if there are better binoculars available and they will stand comparison with others costing many times as much. Try these before you buy Zeiss or Swarovski.
