The Leica Ultravid 10x25 BR Compact Binoculars are light, black, rubberized pocket binoculars that reveal far away images with extreme contrast and focus through its high magnification.
The Leica Ultravid 10x25 BR was the winner of a very strong test in the well-known German Magazin Stiftung Warentest 9/2006, because of very good optical characteristics. This award approves the high quality of these binoculars.
Unequalled in size and resolution power
The Leica Ultravid BR binoculars stand for an extremely high level of optical and mechanical performance. They are brighter, sharper and more compact than many other binoculars in this lens diameter.
Excellent components for pin-sharp viewing
The elements of the larger Ultravids have been reduced to fit these compact binoculars. Thus, they offer the same resolution and sharpness and let you enjoy a wide, detailed view without colour fringing.
High-contrast and brilliant images in any situation
The Leica Ultravid BR models offer outstanding suppression of stray light. They grant crystal-clear viewing, allowing you to detect even the faintest objects.

Superb optics, as to be expected from Leica. Also, I found the 10x25 Ultravid much easier to hold steady and shake free than the 8x20 Ultravid. I put this down to the longer barrels which enable my hands to get a firmer grip than is possible with the 8x20. Unfortunately, the bins were not waterproof and misted up after light exposure to water. So, disappointed with Leica quality control. Returned for a refund! UTTINGS customer service was EXCELLENT.

Great pair of compact and light binoculars expensive but worth the money for the quality
Review by Beekay
Exceptional optics, clarity and sharpness, but where the 'Leica' word is stamped on centre and the front edge, paint rubs off revealing what looks like yellow brasslike metal beneath, making them look shabby within a few weeks of very careful use, initially treated like a baby. Irritating having paid a not insignificant amount for them. Cloth case supplied also barely adequate, stitching shoddy. From an optical viewpoint, the best I've owned. Far superior in my opinion to the equivalent others, bar none.
