Terra Nova Tents | Lightweight Backpacking Tents

Explore Terra Nova tents for lightweight backpacking, bikepacking and nights spent further along the trail. The range includes compact Laser shelters, two-person Solar designs and the four-season Voyager Lite, with different approaches to carrying weight, sleeping space and structural support.

Laser tents for travelling light

The Laser range offers compact shelters for solo journeys and shared trips. The Laser Pulse 1 is a specialist option for fastpacking and adventure racing, with double-wall construction and a small packed size. The Laser Lite 1 provides more sitting height and inner length, alongside an adjustable connected flysheet and inner.

For two occupants, the Laser Lite 2 adds a second side-entry door for easier shared access. The Laser Lite AS takes a different approach, offering space for one person or a snug two-person arrangement, with walking-pole compatibility for additional reinforcement.

Solar tents: choose your layout and materials

The Solar Horizon 2 and Solar Event 2 combine inner-first pitching with two side doors and porch storage. Compare their inner dimensions and packed shapes to decide which layout works better for your equipment and sleeping arrangements.

The Solar Photon 2 focuses on ultralight backpacking and adventure racing, with front access and ventilation hoods at both ends. The UK-made Solar Ultra 2 uses a Dyneema-based DCF flysheet and factory-bonded seams for specialist lightweight event use.

Voyager Lite for four-season backpacking

The Terra Nova Voyager Lite combines a semi-geodesic structure with two-person capacity and a front porch for equipment. It offers an alternative for trekkers whose plans call for a four-season design.
