Apparent fov can seem small at 49 degrees but is no problem in use, resolution is excellent and holds up almost to the edge, very low distortion across the field, ca well controlled but apparent in tricky lighting, a little veiling glare can be seen. My reference binocular is a Nikon 8x32SE, the Bga stacks up very well and is my default low light Winter optic now and has become the one I grab almost every time I go out. Just an outstanding buy, highly recommended.
