I bought this safe to sit next to an older BSA safe (2009). I have all the same criticisms as others about the decline in quality as well as finding the internal safe box is now smaller and the external dimensions are slightly different for the same model. Would have bought a Brattonsound in hindsight despite £100 higher price.

Would confidently recommend the product and would have awarded 4 stars if I wasnt comparing to an earlier purchase of the same item. Things to bear in mind for existing owners:Bought one of these about five years ago and the general quality was much better. The previously bought item has slightly better build and finish notably inside and the keys are more robust.Supplied with just two fairly flimsy wall fixings when at least four of more substantial quality are needed for enhanced security.The new version also has an inferior foam barrel support.Gripes and comparisons to the previous version aside still reasonably happy with the purchase.

I originally purchased one of these cabinets in 2010 and was so happy with it I recently placed an order for a second cabinet, which arrived last week. Unfortunately BSA have made some significant changes which are not reflected in the product details; - the cabinets are no longer "Forest Green" but 'Gloss Black', the keys are of a worse quality, the logo is now painted onto the cabinet and the "Hi density foam" has been replaced with a lower quality substitute. I can't say I'm impressed.

Really well made cabinet, Very strong. Two tiny niggles - only two bolts supplied with the cabinet, Would have liked to see at least four. One of the guns I'm storing in the cabinet is an HW100 KT air rifle, the high density foam strip is just a little high for such a short gun, 25mm lower would be perfect. I know the HW doesn't need to be in a cabinet but it's valuable enough to be kept safe. 32mm plastic waste makes a perfect extension to the mod.

Quick Delivery, great product, the safe is well built, solid and secure construction. there is lots of room inside. i am sure this will last a lifetime and some more. The only let down was that the safe is only supplied with two small rawl bolts, and these alone are not enough to mount the safe securely. I had to purchase four heavy duty rawl bolts to do the job.

Have owned this safe for 4 years now and it stills looks like new and still functions perfectly, well made and looks superb.

The service and product received were both excellent, i couldn't have asked for more. I placed my order and the next day i was rung to arrange delivery and within 3 days i had the safe! The safe itself is a beautiful bit of engineering made out of quality materials and not a rough edge or mistake to be seen anywhere. If you want a safe that looks and feels a bit more special then one from this range will suit you perfectly.
