I bought a pair of these 2 years ago and have hiked, the Norwegian Fjords, trekked the Inca Trail, walked the desert in Cape Verde, plenty of country walking and dog walking. - Very comfy- Waded through strems and knee deep snow in Norway and after the 10th stream got a slight dampness. I Pretty much live in these. Just bought a second pair for when my first pair give up.

First pair still good as new with slight wear and tear. Perfect fit that required no breaking in. Have not got a single blister through wearing these Waded through strems anf knee deep snow in Norway and after the 10th stream got a slight dampness but dried quickly around the fire. Trekking the Incas with no feet issues at all. neither light nor heavyband great ventilation with trekking socks. Pretty much live in these. Just bought a second pair for when and if my first pair give up. Higly recommnd.

These do come up small. I think the confusion is they are a US size and if you look at conversion tables they all differ as to what UK size they convert to. Anyway once you find the size you need they are really comfortable and give a lot of cushioning and support. I wear these 8 hours a day 5 days a week and they are great. I did swap brands with my last pair of boots but gave up and returned to my old favourites after only 4 months!

These are fantastic boots for me always have two pairs on the go. Timberland have discontinued this style with a newer version but its still available from certain suppliers so i bought two more pairs.

Just bought these boots for normal use for me and wife, they are so comfortable from the off. I bought half size bigger which fits fine with normal socks suggest if wearing thick socks at least one size bigger. Defo recommend these for what ever use you need.

Had a pair for about 6 months now. Typically I walk 5 - 12 miles at a time. The boots I purchased were a size 14 - normally I am a 12 (bear in mind). They are however sturdy and comfortable. Very good on dry ground - could be a tad better grip on sodden muddy ground. Lots of ankle support which is important to me. I am very happy with the boots and would probably buy again when these are no longer any good. No real signs of wear and tear yet! Good service from Uttings too!

A very comfortable walking boot with good grip. I have used these daily for about six months, they are warm & waterproof, reasonably hard wearing. Have to agree with previous reviewer, they are not the most breatheable of boots.

I have had these boots now for about 4 months. The uppers are wearing well and they were 100% waterproof up til a few days ago. I do wear these on a daily basis for walking the dog over tarmac and fields. The only problem is the soles, they have now worn through to the foam which now lets in water. They are not the most breathable boot either. To sum up- Not alot of support from the boot and very thin soles

I have had these boots for 3 months now and they were really comfortable from the start. I have big and wide feet and all the boots i had tried in shops were narrow and usually tight. I am off to the Lake District this week end and will have no problems I am sure. I have not workn them in very wet weather - so we shall see.

just finished a 10 mile hike in the new forest wearing my new timberland boots and im well chuffed with them ,so comfy ,perfect i should say ,real test in 2 weeks time when i wear them up skiddaw im sure with the same result, many thanks uttings.
