I wanted a rod that gave me a little more Welly for casting and this hasnt disappointed. It has probably added 30/35 yards on my very average casting. Also they should be congratulated on the build quality simply fantastic and would urge others to consider this rod.

Really happy with this rod very light for its length/power and had no problems casting 6oz plus healthy sized bait a good distance (which Im sure will improve after a couple more sessions). Bite registration is better than my 15ft AFAW six baits. Got good deal from Uttings which made these rods amazing value. Great rod for clean to mixed ground but Id probably avoid using it on very rough ground marks.

This is the first time I have bought a product made by Sonik. Normally I use 13ft rods. I used the rods in high wind and 6oz weight fishing with whole squid. They have a fantastic action. I recommend this rod. 100% .

The Gravity X5 HT is a remarkable rod. Itll chuck a large bait and 6oz lead a great distance (I gained about 60 yards on average). Im using a 8000 fixed spool loaded with 29lb braid with 60lb braid shockleader. The hollow tip shows even the smallest whiting bite at distance so my hookup rates have improved 10 fold. Great piece of kit

Uttings
The rod arrived this morning and i put it together in the Garden. Unbelievably light yet still powerful. I teamed it up with my Shimano 10000 XSB and it feels amazing. Uttings deliver really quickly and secrely package the Rod in a 7 ft container for a 5 foot rod. I saved £40 on the rival prices. Can't wait for the all clear so i can use it. Superb 100%. I will definately use Uttings again
