Sharpening a concave grind such as those found on the EKA SwingBlade belly opener has always been a problem. This sharpener makes this much easier than with any other sharpening system.
The new Lapstone Flex diamond sharpener (9x2 cm) has a coarse and a fine surface applied to a very thin flexible metal plate. By placing your thumb on the back of the sharpener and applying light pressure against the blade the plate will adapt to the shape of the blade.
By moving the sharpener along the length of the grind the edge is brought back on blade. Can be carried in the sheath with an EKA SwingBlade
