I bought one of these scopes second hand to replace an aging Tasco Titan. As you would expect from a scope of this quality/price range, it was a great improvement over the old Tasco. However, what was also a surprise to me was the fact that it also seemed better than the 8x56 Schmidt & Bender I had on my .243. I ended up selling the Schmidt and replacing that as well with another Docter 2.5-10x48.
