pros: cozy and stylish, good traction on all but the smoothest ice.
cons: rub a little on the back of the heel.
buy a size up as they are a little on the small side

Luckily I bought these boots just before the cold snap and have never regretted my choice ! I tried out a lot of other top makes and found most lacking real attention to detail or compromising quality for the sake of fashion. These are completely weatherproof and very warm as I never felt cold once even on the iciest days.
These boots come up rather small, I take a 7 and bought the US 9.5 which is generous but perfect with ski socks. I found other 'duck' boots too flat on the toes which restricted movement but because these boots are made of leather they are much more flexible.
The great thing is they look very stylish in an understated way yet are top end performers ....Exactly what I had hoped to find !

I adore these boots. I am a size 41 or uk 7.5/8. Bought a 9 in these and they fit prefectly definitely a size too small in sizing.
They are so warm stylish and great under foot in this bad weather. They are tough too; I kicked out the snow under my cars stuck wheels in these and didn't feel a thing and they are still perfect. I suffer from plantar fascitis in my feet and I have a dodgy knee. Wearing these I haev had no problems whatsover as they are really supportive. Also the adjustable laces on the calves are brilliant as I have a high instep and chunky calves so you can adjust to fit. They are just perfect. Tough, waterproof stylish, warm and comfortable. Heaven on feet!

Boots don't get much better than this!!
Warm, Comfy, plenty of support and they look great too.
I wore these for the first time for a trip to London and took plenty of plasters with me in case they started to rub whilst I was out, a 15 hour day in all. But I needn't have bothered as it was like walking on air all day.
