Just a word in your lugs about ptarmigan boots, only had them 2 full days but i have covered about 11miles in all sorts of terrain i.e woods fields road etc, and must admit they are a super light boot and have felt really comfortable up to now, they will be severely tested over the next several months in all sorts of weather so i will keep you informed as we progress, by the way i had great service from uttings.co.uk

Ankle boot with Vibram sole, 5mm of insolation rated below freezing, 5mm of CR-Foam amd moisture absorbing polyester lining covered with up to 4mm of rubber.
